CoWorkTampa Launch Is A Success

CoWorkTampa had a successful launch party on Tuesday, July 31st at their new coworking loft and learning facility located at 3104 North Armenia Ave Suite 2 in Tampa’s historic Garcia & Vega Cigar Factory. The party brought together over 100 guests from all over the Tampa Bay area.

Some influential guests from the Tampa community who attended were Bob Garcia, executive director of the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce & Yvonne Yolie Capin of the Tampa City Council.

“We were happy to see these influential members of Tampa come out and support what we’re doing with CoWorkTampa,” says founder Chris Arnoldi.

At the event, guests were invited to dine on food provided by Wings Gone Wild, network and learn more about the coworking movement. As a special bonus, CoWorkTampa generously gave all attendees a lifetime coworking membership, which they are free to use for themselves or pass on to someone who may be interested.

CoWorkTampa offers a place for people who work from home, independent contractors, freelancers and entrepreneurs an open place to work for a reasonable fare. The 6,000 square-foot facility offers a large coworking area, high speed internet, six TV’s, access to two meeting rooms with A/V equipment, abundant free parking and a large kitchen area with coffee. CoWorkTampa is conveniently located just five miles from Tampa International Airport and only one mile from I-275.

After the success of this launch party, CoWorkTampa hopes to spread the word about coworking and gain new members.

“It’s so important Tampa to have successful coworking spaces, this supports small business,” says Chris Arnoldi.
