Tim Marks, president of Metropolitan Ministries plays with Angel, 5, and Anika, 6 in the after school program. Marks impressed me with his ability to be just “one of the guys” on the playground. It was his idea to slide with the girls after I asked him to ignore me and just be himself. He played with all the kids and really listened when they talked with him. He didn’t even flinch when a little boy pinched his nose in play.

CoWorkTampa, a coworking loft in a converted Tampa cigar factory, has a new neighbor.
Tampa HackerSpace had a soft opening on the ground floor of the same building in early August, and now holds classes and meetings.

Chris Arnoldi at Uhsome put together Cowork Tampa as a space for startup companies to grow and take off. Cowork has proudly launched a few companies already in its three years on North Armenia.
CoWorkTampa preps for expansion at cigar factory
Coworking facility CoWorkTampa is about to expand its 10,000-square-foot converted space at a cigar factory in Tampa.
Founder Chris Arnoldi plans to renovate a 4,500-square-foot area on the second floor beginning in May, with a goal to complete construction in two months.
Arnoldi opened CoWorkTampa in 2012 to help foot office costs for his Internet marketing company Uhsome, which is based in the same location.
